Amit Meridor, CEO

Amit Meridor was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Company on February 18, 2014. Prior to his appointment as CEO, he had served as President of the Company since July 1, 2013, with responsibility for a wide range of mandates in the areas of operations, marketing, services and business development. Before joining Syneron, Mr. Meridor served for three years as CEO of Tefron, Ltd. (TASE: TFRLF), a leading Israeli apparel company  During his tenure, Mr. Meridor directed the reorganization of the sales, financial, operational, and manufacturing processes, as well as important strategic business initiatives that returned the company to growth. From 2009 to 2010, Mr. Meridor was CEO of CMT Medical, a medical device company that he successfully restructured and sold to a major European medical technology conglomerate. Mr. Meridor’s experience also includes a previous tenure at Syneron from 2005 to 2008, where he served as Executive Vice President of International Sales and Business Development. Mr. Meridor holds a B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from the Technion Israeli Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Tel-Aviv University.

Hugo Goldman, CFO

Hugo Goldman was appointed as our CFO on November 5, 2012. From 2007 to 2012, Mr. Goldman served as CFO of Retalix, Ltd., a leading global provider of software and services to high volume, high complexity retailers that was dual-listed on Nasdaq and the TASE until it was acquired by NCR Corporation. From 2006 to 2007, Mr. Goldman was the CFO of AxisMobile, a publicly-traded company listed on the AIM stock exchange in London, VocalTec Communications Ltd. (currently  magicJack VocalTec Ltd.; listed on Nasdaq).  Prior to joining AxisMobile, Mr. Goldman served as CFO of Algorithmic Research Ltd., a subsidiary of a publicly-traded Nasdaq-listed company, from 2000 to 2001. From 1983 to 1999, Mr. Goldman held several finance positions of increasing responsibility in both Israel and the U.S. at Motorola Semiconductor (now Freescale Semiconductor Inc.), ultimately reaching the position CFO of the company’s Israeli operations. Mr. Goldman began his career at the accounting firm of Kesselman & Kesselman, now PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Goldman holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of Tel-Aviv and an Executive M.B.A. from Bradford University with distinction. He is a certified public accountant in Israel.

Paul Little, Global Chief Operating Officer

Paul Little brings over 30 years of experience in finance, business strategy and operations roles, spanning pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer packaged goods and public accounting industries. Most recently, he served as the vice president finance and head of commercial operations of Allergan Medical Aesthetics, where he built the finance and commercial operations functions which included market leading products such as BOTOX®Cosmetic and JUVÉDERM®. He was a member of the leadership team that resulted in key strategic business acquisitions including Inamed, SkinMedica and Kythera Biopharmaceuticals. Post-acquisition Paul led both finance and commercial operations integration activities. Prior to Allergan, Paul spent 10 years with ConAgra Foods in leadership roles of increasing responsibility, most notably Vice President of Finance, International Foods Group, where he was responsible for international accounting and strategic and operational planning.  He began his career in public accounting at KPMG.  

Paul earned a BA in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Sarit Soccary, Vice President Business Development and Strategy

Sarit joined Syneron as Vice President Business Development and Strategy in 2013.  Prior to joining Syneron from 2010 – 2013, Sarit was the CEO of GEFEN Biomed Investments Ltd. (TASE), managing 33 portfolio companies in the areas of healthcare and clean tech.  From 2007 – 2010, Sarit served as CEO of ATI, a technology incubator with 28 portfolio companies in diversified fields.  Prior to her work at ATI, Sarit was a Principal and one of the founding members of L Capital Partners, an NYC-based venture capital fund, from 2004 - 2007.  Before joining L Capital Partners, Sarit worked as a Senior Associate at Shalom Equity Fund from 1999 - 2004.  Before such time, Sarit held various consulting, management and marketing positions at several companies.  Sarit has served since 2006 on the Board, Audit and Compensation Committees of Mazor Surgical Ltd., a publicly-traded NASDAQ company.  She holds a BA and MA in Economics from Tel Aviv University.

Philippe A. Schaison, PhD, CEO of Syneron Candela North America and Global Executive Vice President Strategy and Business Development

Dr. Schaison is joining Syneron from Allergan plc, where he served as President of the $2 billion U.S. Aesthetic and Dermatology business since 2013, with responsibility for Allergan's top aesthetic brands, including Botox, Juvederm, Skin Medica, and other leading brands. Prior to Allergan, Dr. Schaison served in leadership roles of several aesthetic businesses, including Clarins, Johnson & Johnson where he served as VP of Global Skin Care, and L’Oréal.

Dr. Schaison received a Master of Business Administration in marketing from the Hautes Etudes Commerciales (H.E.C.) in Paris, and a Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University Of Paris 


Jeffrey Nardoci, Chief Commercial Officer

Jeffrey Nardoci was appointed as Chief Commercial Officer on November 1, 2016. Prior to his appointment as CCO, he had served as President, North American Body Group since October 1, 2015. Mr. Nardoci has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare, medical device, OTC and FMG industries. Prior to joining Syneron-Candela, Mr. Nardoci served as SVP, Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer for Banner Health, one of the largest U.S. healthcare systems, where he was responsible for Business Development, Mergers & Acquisitions, Marketing, Public Relations and Service Excellence. From 2009-2014, Mr. Nardoci served as Corporate Officer, VP Worldwide Marketing & General Manager Surgical Specialties for Solta Medical, utilizing innovative marketing strategies and strategic acquisitions to drive 39% revenue growth during his tenure with the company. Before joining Solta, Mr. Nardoci held various senior sales and marketing positions with Bausch & Lomb and Nabisco Brands.

Lisa A. Soderquist, Chief Human Resources Officer

Lisa Soderquist was appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer of the Company on February 1, 2017, with responsibility for the Company’s global human resources function with emphasis on advancing global talent capabilities, including performance management, talent development, compensation and benefits, and engagement. Ms. Soderquist brings over 20 years of global human resources experience. Most recently, she held senior human resources leadership roles at Allergan plc from 2010 to 2017. Prior to working at Allergan, Ms. Soderquist held various Head of HR positions in Canada, Europe, Singapore, and the U.S. Ms. Soderquist holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an Advanced Degree in European Economics from the University of Copenhagen.

Yariv Matzliach, Executive Vice President Distribution Channels

Dr. Matzliach is a co-founder of Alma Lasers, a global developer, manufacturer and provider of cosmetic laser solutions and medical lasers. Dr. Matzliach tenor at Alma Lasers was from 2004 until 2011 where he served at management roles with global responsibility including President of the company. Dr. Matzliach brings over 20 years of global Medical devices experience.  Prior to Alma Lasers, Dr. Matzliach served in sales and marketing positions at various medical companies such as Elscint, CMT, ESC and Lumenis where he served as Director of Global Marketing, Aesthetic Business Unit. Dr. Matzliach received a Doctor of Dental Surgery at UNAM in Mexico City and completed the Executive Business Administration course at Elscint in Paris.

Robert Fielitz, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, EMEA

Mr. Robert Fielitz joined the Company in September 2013 as Vice President and Managing Director of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).  He has lived and worked internationally for more than fourteen years.  Prior to joining the Company, Robert served as Managing Director of EMEA Operations for Palomar Medical Technologies from 2006 – 2013.  He opened the first of several international office for Palomar where under his leadership International Business went from 11% of total revenues to 54% of Palomar’s total revenues prior to their acquisition in 2013.   Before this impressive performance he was the Director for EMEA for Lumenis Lasers for 3 years from 2003 – 2006 where he was involved in growing the Aesthetic, Surgical, Ophthalmic, Medical, Dental, and the Veterinary business units.  Prior to 2003, Robert had successfully worked for Boston Scientific in their Coronary & Peripheral Vascular SciMed Division.  Robert is a graduate and alumni from both The Citadel, Military College of South Carolina and Harvard Business School (Boston, MA).


Robert Ruck, Executive Vice President Asia Pacific

Robert Ruck is the Executive Vice President responsible for our Asia Pacific business and is based in Hong Kong.  Mr. Ruck joined Syneron Candela in March 2014.  He is an industry veteran having spent six years with Sciton and nearly seven years with Lumenis in various sales, marketing, and general management roles with global responsibility.  Prior to Lumenis, Mr. Ruck was a business strategy consultant working with medical device companies to accelerate their growth.  Before becoming a consultant, he served as an Infantry officer in the U.S. Army.  Mr. Ruck holds a Master in Public Policy (MPP) in Applied Economics from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering and Economics from the US Military Academy at West Point.
